Wife on Loan: She's Playing Mom to Her First Love's Son

Jana Webster skips their daughter Leah Haynes's field day, claiming work at the company. Her husband takes Leah to the event himself, where he finds Jana on stage beside her first love, Barton Ritter, and Barton's son, Trenton Ritter, presenting themselves as a happy family of three. When he asks Jana publicly since when she has a son, she grips Barton's hand and declares it her answer, while the crowd mocks her husband as a shameless opportunist.

Jana messages him that she is only playing Trenton's mother for a day at Barton's request, and warns him to stop. Leah defends her father and is ridiculed by the crowd and her classmates; Trenton tries to hit her. Jana coldly claims she does not know them, and Barton provokes him openly. He knows Brighton Group was founded by his grandfather, Chadwick Haynes, and that he owns most of it.

When Trenton trips Leah on the track and Barton scatters cash over her, he decides to strip Jana of her position and tear off their masks in public.
