Story

The story

For five years, Teresa has stood beside Frank Carter, planning every detail of the lavish wedding he promised her. Then, turning a corner at work, she sees him kissing her own client, Susanna Jackson, and hears the truth: the wedding she has been designing is Susanna's, and Frank intends to marry her while keeping Teresa in the dark. Her lost wedding manuscript was never thrown away—it was handed to the bride-to-be.

When Susanna makes sure Teresa understands the game, Teresa says nothing. She goes home, dodges Frank's embrace, notices the unfamiliar tie, and quietly packs her life into three suitcases. With a transfer to Luminous City only days away, she arranges one last surprise for the couple: a bouquet signed in her own name.

Everyone around Frank seems to know the secret except Teresa. Now she must decide what to do with the five years she gave him—and with the invitation to watch it all unfold.
