The Third Wheel in My Own Marriage

Olivia's marriage to Declan is micromanaged by his female best friend Vanessa, who audits every purchase and broadcasts Olivia's private life for office amusement while Declan laughs it off. At a family dinner, Olivia finally fights back, exposing that Declan has been secretly slipping her birth control pills because Vanessa does not want him to have a child yet.

When Olivia presents a medical receipt and a divorce agreement, Declan signs without reading, assuming it is routine paperwork. He still expects her to wait at home for him, unaware that she has already begun planning a wedding of her own.

A wife who spent years absorbing blame and humiliation now holds the signed proof of her exit, and the husband who never looked at the page has no idea what he has agreed to.
