Wrong Key to My Heart

For seven years, Simon Langley has hidden his identity while quietly funding and guiding his girlfriend Natasha Doyle's rise to fame as a designer. On the night of a major awards ceremony, he plans to reveal himself and propose. Instead, Natasha takes the stage hand-in-hand with Connor Gibson, who claims her success as his own, and she agrees.

Humiliated, Simon orders his assistant Walter Moore to cut all funding to Natasha's studio and withdraw support in her patent infringement lawsuit, knowing her contract with Galaxis and the case could ruin her. When Natasha dismisses his anger as jealousy and moves Connor into their home, Simon sees how little she values him.

A video left on a secondhand computer Connor gave her makes the betrayal plain: seven years of sacrifice meant nothing to the woman he loved.
