Story
The story
A wife travels abroad with her daughter to buy rare cuff links for her husband's birthday at a black-market auction. Called away for a video conference, she leaves the girl to bid alone. She returns to find her daughter encased in plaster as a human statue on the exhibition stand, eyes wide with terror.
A woman named Jessica orders stone hammers brought and has the child struck with every bid, then pours salt water over her. When the wife cries that she is Damon's original wife and the true chairman of Richards Group, the crowd only mocks her, for Jessica claims to be his wife. Jessica video-calls Damon, who denies knowing the wife and daughter and orders them dragged out to feed the dogs.
Stripped of the power she once handed to him, the wife watches her daughter beaten and skinned before her, her hatred burning as she vows to reclaim what is hers.

In order to buy rare cuff links for my husband as a birthday gift, I took my daughter to a foreign country to attend a black market auction.
