Story
The story
On the sixth anniversary of her marriage—which is also her birthday—Cici's husband Paul brings home Sophia, the junior colleague who has pursued him for eight years. Sophia kneels and claims their world is a novel in which she and Paul are the destined main characters; unless Paul marries her and takes her on a honeymoon, the world will collapse. Paul believes her, calling Cici and their marriage the mistake.
When Cici threatens divorce, Paul leaves with Sophia without looking back. Reading the book, Cici finds their private history written in perfect detail—and a chapter revealing that on the day she miscarried, Paul was with Sophia. The next morning, Sophia helps Paul pack for their destination wedding.
As Paul accuses Cici of bullying Sophia, Cici must decide what to do with a marriage she is told was never meant to be.
