Story

The story

For five years, Aurora Croft has been the wife Gideon Blackwood never truly saw, his heart still belonging to Seraphina Monroe, the lost love who died in a fire. When Aurora discovers the papers he has hidden, the truth is laid bare: properties and shares in Blackwood Enterprises are being gifted to Felicity Monroe, Seraphina's younger sister, alongside a bone marrow donation consent form that only Aurora's signature can complete. Gideon insists she owes it to Seraphina, and that Felicity's leukemia leaves no other choice.

When Felicity turns her cruelty on Aurora's daughter Rosie, wounding the child, Gideon takes Felicity's side and demands an apology. He threatens to announce the donation at a charity gala and to use Aurora's family company against her. Aurora refuses to sign, and turns to her hacker, K, to trace years of Felicity's overseas transfers, which lead to an Australian account under the name Vivienne.
