Insult Me, Lose Your Job

At a meeting in a vendor's conference room, Karen Collins of Lumina Group is insulted by Rick Briggs, the account manager, who mocks her appearance and calls her a witch. She calls his boss, Joshua Reynolds, and formally reports a breach of contract, demanding a written explanation, a remediation plan and a public apology from Rick.

Joshua tries to dismiss the incident as a misunderstanding, calling Rick young and foolish, but Karen refuses to accept it. When Rick returns to deliver a fake apology that blames her for being oversensitive, she rejects it outright and warns that Lumina Group may end the partnership.

With her team behind her, Karen orders a fresh evaluation of other vendors, determined to prove that disrespecting the client who funds an agency's payroll has consequences.
