Undercover Boss's Takeover

Chloe pulls three former colleagues out of an overlooked department and makes them the core of a flagship project, shielding them from client complaints and quietly fixing their work. Three months later, days before delivery, she overhears Tasha Parker, Vinny Owen and Patricia Brown plotting to cut her out of the bonus and have her removed from the contributors list.

Confronted, the three produce a printed resignation form and threaten to report her for incompetence, warning that the core data and passwords are already in their hands. Tasha even offers her a cleaning job through her aunt. Chloe pours out her water and walks away, then messages headquarters that the inspection is complete and the net is ready to close.

Back at her desk her account is deleted and the smear campaign begins, but Chloe is not the project lead they believe her to be.
