Story
The story
Bob has spent ten years providing for his wife Mia and her family, only to discover through a paternity test that neither of his children is biologically his. When he confronts her, Mia shamelessly asks whether blood ties really matter. In his past life, his rage ended in betrayal, fire and death while Mia fled with her lover and his insurance money. Now he has woken on the very day he first confronted her, with the report still two hours away.
This time Bob refuses to be the family's obedient provider. He drives out his mother-in-law Sherry, her son Andrew and the girl Larrisa, changes the locks and cuts ties with Mia, even as she and her relatives howl outside his door. Yet the truth about the children has not yet been proven, and Mia still holds the power to shame him before the neighbours.
With his parents beside him, Bob is determined to settle every debt and start again, no matter the cost.
