Story

The story

Paige Miller's life turns strange when glowing subtitles appear in the air, narrating a romance story in which she is the villainess. The new transfer student, Lila Jensen, is the heroine destined to win Paige's boyfriend, Liam, and Paige's role is to sabotage her until Liam destroys Paige and her family. When Lila makes her first move, Paige refuses to play along, giving up her seat and stepping aside.

But the plot keeps tightening. Lila spills boba tea on herself and blames Paige, turning the class against her. Liam defends Paige, yet grows colder, and Lila keeps maneuvering closer to him. The subtitles warn that Lila plans to ruin Paige's reputation at the midterms.

When Paige earns the top score and Lila places second, Lila accuses her of cheating before the whole class. With the room in an uproar and proof demanded, Paige must find a way to fight a story that seems determined to destroy her.
