Story
The story
Scarlett Osborne has waited her whole life for the night she would finally shift and take her place beside Alpha Liam Watson of the Blood Moon pack. But when the clock passes midnight, no wolf comes. In front of the whole pack, Liam rejects her and names Olivia as his mate, already marked and set to become Luna in three days. Banished and broken, Scarlett flees to a human town, hoping to heal and forget the man who was meant to be hers.
Forgetting proves impossible. Scarlett discovers she is pregnant from the single night she gave herself to Liam, and the child of the Alpha who cast her out cannot stay hidden forever. Alone among humans, with no wolf to protect her and the pack's mockery behind her, she must decide what future she can build from the ruins of her old life.
Opening excerpt
Everything slowed to a stop for Scarlett as his words washed over her. She felt like the weight of the world was pressing down on her chest and she couldn't breathe as she fell to the ground.
What was supposed to be the best day of her life became the worst day when Scarlett could not get her wolf. It became even worse when she injured the soon to be Luna and was banished from her pack by the man who was supposed to be her mate.
