She Canceled My Train Ticket, I Booked a Private Jet

On the eve of National Day, Liam spends three sleepless nights securing high-speed rail tickets for himself and his girlfriend, Emily Walker. Then a message arrives: she has given his seat to Jason, who is in a bad mood, and suggests he find standing room for the seven- or eight-hour journey. When he protests, Emily calls him cold-blooded and petty, insisting Jason, a friend studying far from home, deserves the quieter business-class seat.

Liam says nothing about the truth: one call to his mother could buy the entire train. Instead he asks whether the family's private jet can land in front of his school, then tells Emily he will handle his own trip. She takes his calm for surrender and asks him to return early after the holiday to save library seats for her and Jason.

Liam agrees, hiding his contempt, and watches their messages and posts. When Emily and Jason appear at his dorm to check whether he really bought a standing ticket, he answers that he did not buy one at all.
