His Secretary Called My Labor an Act

Seven months pregnant, Rachel stays home while her husband Simon celebrates New Year's Eve with his friends. A message from him lures her to a club, where she finds his young secretary Kelly in the lingerie Simon once had made for Rachel, seated on his lap. Simon's friends laugh along as he mocks Rachel's pregnant body and says he keeps a mistress because she cannot satisfy him.

Humiliated, Rachel demands a divorce, but Simon refuses, insisting she has nowhere to go and that she will remain his wife. When her water breaks, Kelly claims Rachel only wet herself for attention, and Simon, disgusted, locks her in the bathroom instead of taking her to the hospital.
