Good Girl's Done Loving

Vera has always been a good girl, and the boldest thing she ever did was fall in love with Oliver Anderson, her older brother's friend. When he learns of her feelings, he agrees to become her boyfriend, and she believes they love each other. Then, on her birthday, Oliver sends her a video of himself with another woman, Kimberly Yates, and a message telling her never to trust a man so easily.

Watching the video, Vera sees the devotion Oliver never showed her, and her confidence shatters. Oliver's friends have long urged her to let him go, and everyone says he has changed, grown quieter and more withdrawn. When Oliver's friend tells her to come if she wants to keep him, she arrives to find Kimberly, a woman whose features mirror her own, and learns why Oliver first approached her.

Oliver shields Kimberly and kisses her before the crowd, and Vera's brother, Vincent Hale, strikes him in fury. Oliver refuses to apologize, insisting Kimberly is the one he truly loves and that Vera was only ever a game.
