Echoes of Summer: My Ghostly Sweetheart

Summer's fiancé, Spencer, is cheating on her, and his secretary keeps sending her gloating photos as proof. She tells herself she doesn't care. Then Carter, her childhood sweetheart who died in a car crash ten years ago, appears in her living room as a ghost, still wearing his old varsity jacket and still unable to keep his mouth shut.

Carter can't touch anything, yet he follows her everywhere, teasing her about her engagement and demanding to know why Spencer's face looks so much like his own. Summer insists it's a coincidence, but Spencer arrives at her door with the photos of Carter's belongings, revealing that she has spent six years calling Carter's name whenever she drinks.

As Spencer searches the apartment for the man he suspects is hiding there, Carter can only watch, unable to land a single blow on him. Summer is left facing the fiancé she never wanted and the ghost she never stopped missing.
