The story
A year after Leo White dies in a car accident, a woman named Rita Green arrives at his widow Olivia Smith's door with a newborn boy, Oscar, claiming the child is Leo's son and demanding a share of the inheritance. She backs her claim with hotel records, and Olivia learns her husband of seven years had betrayed her, spending a fixed 100,000 dollars a month on the woman outside.
Olivia, who studied law and gave up her own dreams to fund Leo's company, refuses to surrender what belongs to her daughter Grace. Then her mother-in-law, who favors boys over girls, pressures her to compromise for the sake of the eldest grandson, insisting the company should go to Oscar rather than a girl.
