My Husband Let His Childhood Sweetheart Steal My Wedding

On her wedding day, Denise is told by Nicolas to hand her wedding dress to his childhood sweetheart, Hazel, who is said to need exposure therapy for her fear of marriage. Left in a bridesmaid dress, Denise watches Nicolas exchange rings, kiss and recite vows with Hazel, then returns home to find the two together on her marital bed. She learns the child she carries was never wanted, and that Nicolas believes she drugged him at a party.

Denise does not cry or make a scene. She orders ninety-nine boxes of contraceptives and ninety-nine sets of lace lingerie, sends a recorded video to her private lawyer, and asks him to sell all her shares in the Jenkins family company and release the video. She then calls the hospital to schedule an abortion.

When Nicolas' mother Audrey and father Ronan confront her, Denise tells them Hazel should register the marriage instead. Nicolas comes downstairs, his chest marked with scratches, and calls her petty for ruining the day, saying replacing her was the right decision.
