Seven Days to Leave My Marriage

Collins has spent ten years building Victoria Group alongside his wife Victoria, who once married him despite his humble origins. When she arranges a sudden seven-day trip to Scandinavia for him, he assumes it is thoughtfulness—until he overhears her telling their eight-year-old son Diego to keep a secret about her plans to marry Uncle Osman, calling it only a fake marriage.

Signs surface everywhere: Victoria's new red dresses, a wedding-dress outing she claims is with a girlfriend, a Twitter photo bearing Osman's watch and her own red mole, and a custom piano given to Osman's daughter Millia while Diego is raised frugally and denied even small toys. At a company meeting, Osman brazenly volunteers to take over Collins's work, and Victoria agrees.

With his marriage and his position both slipping away, Collins reaches out to his childhood friend Brennan about a Scandinavian venture—and asks for a divorce agreement to be drafted.
