He Loved Me Only after My Heart No Longer for Him

On the couple's eighth wedding anniversary, a husband takes Anya Hemsworth to dinner. When his five-year-old son Andrew asks for the first course, Anya weeps and claims the boy humiliated her on her birthday. The husband throws Andrew into a pigpen, has his wife held down and injected with sleeping pills, and she wakes three days later to learn the starving pigs have eaten her son. She clutches his severed finger while her husband holds Anya and lights sky lanterns for her.

Calling her husband's sister Sophie Taylor, she says the family has no heir and asks to be released from her debt. She reveals that four years ago a doctor said Henry could never have children. At home, Anya, wearing her pajamas, admits she arranged the killing and recorded it. Henry orders his wife to apologize to Anya and prepare seafood, and she asks for a divorce.

She then calls Professor Zion Martin and agrees to join the Bessemer project, asking for one week before she cancels all her documents and disappears.
