Story

The story

On New Year's Eve, a flower shop receives an order placed by a wife's husband, who is supposedly away on business. The recipient is not her. When she delivers the bouquet herself to a luxury condo, she finds her daughter's former art teacher, Lyla, heavily pregnant, living in a home bought by Vincent, her husband. Lyla claims Vincent already divorced his wife and that her unborn son matters more than their daughter Luna.

Vincent returns from the kitchen, drops a bowl at the sight of her, and rushes Lyla to the hospital after she falls, leaving his wife injured and ignored. Back home, she learns Vincent secretly transferred roughly 70 million to Lyla's name, and that her mother-in-law and sister-in-law knew of the affair all along, taking supplements meant for Lyla.

As the company's largest shareholder, she begins to reclaim what is hers and prepares for divorce.

On New Year's Eve afternoon, my best friend's flower shop received an order from my husband.

I checked the WeChat ID of the person placing the order on the shop's phone three times.

Confirmed it was indeed my husband, who was supposedly on a business trip out of town.

But the recipient wasn't me.

I made a video call, which connected after a long time.

Just as I was about to question him, my best friend squeezed into the screen smiling, speaking before me.
