Love, Lies and Legacy

After a late-night shift, a woman is knocked down by a delivery rider—a deaf-mute girl who looks barely a teenager. Unable to blame her, the woman pays her own hospital bills. Limping home, she finds a familiar delivery helmet at the door and hears laughter inside: her boyfriend Nicholas Poldark is being fed grapes and kissed by the same rider, who is not deaf at all.

For three years Nicholas lay in a coma, and she carried his medical expenses and his mother's needs. Now awake, he mocks her devotion while Pearl Maddon, a TikTok streamer who fakes marginalized identities for social experiments, plays him for content. When the woman demands compensation for her injuries, Nicholas slaps her and takes Pearl's side.

With every bank card in her name emptied and her love finally shattered, she packs her few belongings—and walks away from the man who once promised her a home.
