Story

The story

When Anna was ten, her parents died in a car crash on their way to collect her brother Cole from prison. At the wake she shoved him, blaming him for their deaths, and never called him brother again. She had learned from an old ultrasound report that she was born only to provide the cord blood that saved Cole from leukemia — a tool, not a wanted child.
