Story
The story
A professional haunted house tester takes a thirty-day job in the country's most haunted mansion, streaming her stay to pay for her father's medical treatment. The house seems ordinary, and her viewers drift away—until she notices small things out of place: shuffling outside her room, a missing remote, chopsticks moved from the left side of her plate to the right.
On Day 26, her stream suddenly trends. The comments scream at her to run, warning that the wardrobe beside her bed has opened. When the power cuts and her phone dies, she turns to find the wardrobe open and a doll inside, its glass eyes seemingly watching her.
A note taped to the electrical box tells her to go upstairs and find the doll, and beneath its dress lies a journal written in the same elegant hand—entries from a previous tester whose uneventful days slowly curdled into the same creeping dread.
