After Dumping My Ex, I Was Taken by a Puppy Man

Nicole Green has spent seven years with Lucas Yates, ever since a scolding over a game turned into a romance at B University. But when Susan Lawrence, Lucas's childhood sweetheart, returns, Lucas keeps choosing her — leaving Nicole to sit in the back seat while Susan rides up front, and lying on a bed with Susan while telling Nicole she is being melodramatic.

On the day Nicole is due to fly out for a medical exchange, Lucas refuses to see her off. At the airport, an old lady collapses nearby, and Nicole gives up her boarding time to perform first aid. The flight she missed, A5566, crashes in Caribbean. Messages pour in from family and friends — but none from Lucas.

Now Nicole must decide whether a man who cannot keep his distance is worth another chance.
