Runaway Bride: Singles' Party With the Wrong Man

On the eve of their wedding, Olivia Smith tells her fiancé she wants to attend a bachelorette party. He agrees, only to find he cannot reach her the next day. Instead, he sees a post from her childhood friend, Aiden Jones, with a photo of the two of them and a caption claiming her one last time before she becomes another man's wife. Quietly, he cancels the wedding, and the group chats erupt. His parents, who spent a lifetime of savings on the reception, call in confusion, but he cannot bring himself to explain.

As it turns out, canceling the wedding takes only a morning. Yet Olivia never calls. Another post from Aiden shows her sleeping peacefully, and the fiancé finally accepts there is no future with her. He remembers how he once pursued her at university, how she rejected him for a wealthy heir, and how she finally kissed him at a graduation party. But Aiden was always beside her, and she tolerated no complaint.

When Olivia finally phones, she laughs off her night away and asks to refine the wedding details, unaware that everything is already over.
