Branded a Predator, I Chose Revenge

After a military mission leaves him in a coma for three years, a scarred and crippled soldier slips away from the hospital to surprise his wife, Major Alicia Connor, at the army base where she is stationed. Instead, he finds her in the arms of another man, Steven Greene, while the recruits cheer them on and she kisses him without hesitation.

When he asks to see Alicia, it is Steven who comes out, accusing him of being the monster who stalked her years ago. The soldiers press him into the mud, stomp on his bouquet of asters, and mock his scars and crippled leg. He insists he is Alicia's husband and shows their marriage certificate, but Steven calls it a forgery and has him beaten.

What Steven does not know is that, without him, Alicia could never have remained in the army, let alone become a major. He refuses to leave until he sees her face-to-face and learns the truth.
