My husband forced me to dress up as my sister and then he thought I was disgusting. I want to stay away from him this life.

In her past life, a woman fell for Julian Thorne, the director of the reality show "Billionaire Bride." On the night of the finale she dropped out, handing the prize—marriage to Liam Blackwood—to her twin sister, Maya Hayes. After the honeymoon, Maya pushed her off a high-rise. Now reborn onto the show's set, she watches Maya, also reborn, shamelessly court Julian, whom Maya believes is the true Blackwood heir. This time, the woman slips her choice card into Liam's draw box.

At the live finale, Maya dramatically drops out to declare her love for Julian, leaving the woman the announced winner. Julian, reborn as well, publicly names himself the Blackwood heir and claims Maya as his future bride. Yet he corners the woman backstage, accusing her of scheming and ordering her to disappear for fifty million, even threatening her silence.

She remembers his past cruelty and only wants to stay far from him. As Liam leads her away, she wonders whether this new marriage can truly keep her safe from the man who once tormented her.
