My Family Didn't Know I Was the Donor

At a charity gala, a host brings ten children onstage to honor an organ donor who died in an accident. In the front row, the Leandro family sneers at the unknown benefactor, until the host calls Mr. Christopher and Mrs. Martha to accept the award for their daughter. The family insists their daughter Sophia is alive abroad, and a video call proves it. Then a girl onstage says the donor's name was Charlotte — the adopted daughter the Leandro family took in a year ago, rumored to be their real child, switched at birth.

Charlotte's ghost watches as the family recalls her: the gamblers who raised her, the scars, her return to a home where Sophia was protected and she was hidden as an adopted daughter. Liam accuses her of fleeing an avalanche and abandoning her mother, and Martha declares she has only one daughter, Sophia.

When the host asks whether Charlotte truly hid away, or died in that avalanche, the hall falls silent.
