My Husband Hurt Me To Save Another Woman

Two years after her adoptive brother Zevian broke with the wealthy Dravenson family to stand by her, Amaris is quietly preparing a divorce. Once, when she and the real daughter Aveline were both kidnapped, only Aveline was rescued; Amaris was left to be violated and to lose a kidney. Zevian alone came to her, swore he did not care what had been done to her, and loved her with a devotion that seemed to erase every shadow.

Then, carrying the pendant she had given him for his safety, she overhears him on the phone with her adoptive parents, Alaric and Amanda Dravenson. Aveline's kidney failure has returned, and they plan another kidnapping during the coming wedding ceremony to take Amaris's remaining kidney. Zevian agrees, calling her nothing but a tool to satisfy his desires, and admits the first kidnapping was his own doing.

Back in the bedroom, Amaris calmly calls the Castellan family, who found her a week ago, and tells them she is ready to come home once the divorce is done.
