Betrayed and Used: My Wife's Shocking Plan for Her Dying Friend

Liam once gave his wife Scarlett one of his kidneys and tolerated her closeness with his terminally ill childhood friend, Julian. When Scarlett was three months pregnant, she ignored Liam's pleas and ended their baby's life so she could carry an heir for Julian through IVF, telling Liam they could have another child later. Liam signed divorce papers, left the country, and built a new life with his wife Vivian and their daughter.

Two years later, at a high school reunion, Scarlett pushes her two-year-old into Liam's arms and orders him to care for the boy, offering money and calling it an honor. Julian kneels and begs, while classmates mock Liam's clothes and assume he is still the devoted husband who cannot refuse. Liam reveals he is already married and refuses.

Scarlett threatens divorce, but Liam reminds her they divorced two years ago. She never read the letter he left, which held his wedding ring and the signed divorce agreement.
