I Am No Ones Second Choice

The day before his wedding, Gary finds a hotel reservation in his fiancée Brooke's name, then sees a photo of her tangled in bed with her childhood best friend, Riley. She sends only a text promising to see him at the altar. Gary calls off the wedding, telling his mother and his best friend Zack, and strips the apartment of every trace of the celebration.

Brooke arrives two days later, calling his reaction a tantrum and never mentioning the hotel or Riley. She insists he come to dinner with her parents, who have always treated him like a son. At their house, Riley walks in wearing slippers that match Brooke's, and she eats from his plate without flinching. When Brooke finally drops a grilled shrimp onto Gary's plate, it is clear she still does not know he is deathly allergic to shellfish.
