Story
The story
At a jewelry design competition, a woman's entry is swapped for a stolen antique, and she is arrested and sentenced to five years in prison. For one thousand eight hundred days and nights she endures torment behind bars. When she is released, her husband Reid Ashford and their son Wesley come to collect her, and she believes her nightmare is finally over.
Then a video reveals the truth: her ten-year-old son switched her design so Sabrina, a student the family once sponsored, could win, and Reid knew all along. They plan to appear openly together after Sabrina's birthday banquet, where her grandfather will recognize her as the second daughter of the Stanton family. The woman also finds a row of dolls Reid crafted in Sabrina's image, and watches him lend Sabrina the crown made for their wedding.
Hiding her knowledge, she visits a deserted swimming facility and leaves a letter with four words: I regret it.

For one thousand eight hundred days and nights, I counted slivers of light slipping through iron bars. I endured torment that no human should ever have to face.
