The Other Her

Antonio has seen ghosts since childhood, though he can never speak to them. On his fifth wedding anniversary, as he waits for his wife Lyra to come home, he sees her spirit huddled in the corner of the living room, pale and watchful. Then the front door opens and Lyra walks in, warm and alive, embracing him as always. If the ghost is the real Lyra, who is the woman wearing her skin?

Unable to raise the alarm, Antonio tests the woman who claims to be his wife. She recalls secrets only the two of them could know, from a stolen bottle of wine in high school to the fountain pen she saved for months to buy him. Every answer is correct, yet the spirit never leaves the corner.

As the night deepens, Antonio keeps probing, torn between twenty years of shared memory and the Sight he has never doubted. Whether she is human or ghost, he resolves to uncover the truth.
