After ten years of marriage, I found out my husband was cheating on me.

At a middle school reunion, Chloe Miller asks the married women what they would do if their husbands cheated. Scarlett Hayes, married for ten years to the gentle Victor Sterling, declares she would rather be a widow than a divorcee. But Chloe's face changes, and later she shows Scarlett photos and messages revealing Victor with other women, including Chloe herself and a woman named Valerie.

Scarlett rushes home to confront Victor, but her five-year-old daughter Lily's voice on the phone makes her swallow her rage. She pretends to be drunk and cries in secret, then begins to doubt Chloe's motives. When Chloe takes her to a club, Scarlett sees Victor with Valerie, and the three women sit down together. Chloe and Valerie, both defrauded, ask Scarlett what she will do, since as Victor's legal wife, her choice will decide everything.
