Confessions of a Feline White Moonlight

A campus cat known as Duchess is bound against its will to an Evil Sidekick System, which admits it meant to bind the most famous girl on campus and now cannot unbind itself. Its mission for her is simple: seduce the male lead. Duchess, unimpressed by offers of humanity, longer life, or more food, agrees anyway, mostly out of curiosity.

Her target is Liam, a poor student working three jobs to cover tuition and living expenses, who insists he cannot afford a rabies shot and keeps his distance. Day by day his resolve softens, until he publicly calls her just a cat while privately whispering to his little fluff-nugget. Then a Churu tube slips and bonks her in the face, and she answers with a clawless bap-bap-bap.

When Liam fails to appear, Duchess panics, slips through his dorm window, and finds him asleep and far too warm, smelling bitter.
