Saving A Stranger Cost Me Half A Million

A delivery rider stops his electric bike beside a black Porsche Cayenne and finds a three-year-old boy locked inside, sweating, turning purple and foaming at the mouth. With no one else around and the doors locked, he smashes the rear window with his bike lock, pulls the child out and revives him with CPR. The boy's mother, Layla Wagner, arrives carrying shopping bags and, ignoring her son on the ground, screams about her car and slaps the rider.

At the hospital she accuses him of smashing her Porsche to steal her Hermès bag and demands 500 thousand dollars, claiming her son was only napping with the air conditioning on. She fakes a collapse, the crowd turns on the rider, and the police ask him for a statement. She boasts that the parking corner is a CCTV blind spot, so no footage exists to clear him.

He says nothing and touches the small action camera still blinking on his helmet.
