Story
The story
When the Eclipse Pack attacks and absorbs Gwyneth's pack, her father, Delta Mackenzie, surrenders to Alpha Marcus to save their people. To seal the submission, Marcus demands Gwyneth as his wife. She is nineteen, unmated, and unwilling; he is a twenty-nine-year-old widower who has vowed never to touch her or love again.
Gwyneth refuses to be tamed. She flees to the Alpha's residence to provoke him into rejecting the union, but Marcus will not be moved. Bound by duty and mistrust, the two collide: she challenges him at every turn, while he keeps his vow and his distance.
Can she hate him forever, and can he truly never fall?
