The Girlfriend Selection

For five years, Hannah has believed Fred Thompson loves her, and she has kept one secret: she is the daughter of the richest man in the country. Then, late one night, she finds a post about a "girlfriend selection," a game in which wealthy men date several women at once, score them, and marry the highest. Fred's secretary, Ayla Butler, defends it in the comments.

When Fred's phone lights up, Hannah reads his group chat. His friends rank her against Ayla, and Fred admits he will marry whoever scores higher, warning them to act normal around her. He lies to her face, then rushes out. Hannah calls her father and agrees to come home and marry the man who has waited for her, but first she stays to gather evidence with other discarded girls.

Then she comes home to sounds from the kitchen and finds Fred with Ayla. Ayla stumbles, and a pot of boiling soup tips toward Hannah.
