The Idol's Secret

For eight years, a young woman has been the hidden lover of Liam, a top idol with millions of fans. She began as one of those fans, won a moment on stage with him, and later became close to him on a drama crew. To him, though, she is only a canary kept out of sight, and she knows she resembles his dead childhood sweetheart.

When her mother presses her to marry, Liam refuses her and tells her she is getting old, that she should go home and find someone suitable. Wounded, she agrees to the blind dates her mother arranges and begins quietly settling the money and property between them, drawing on the comics she has serialized and sold.

Then Liam discovers she is dining out with others, and his jealousy surfaces. Leaving is not as simple as packing a suitcase.
