Cruel Husband, I Don’t Want It Anymore!

On a typhoon day, Alexander telephones his son at school and sends the boy out for oranges. The child is struck by a falling tree and dies in hospital, still clutching the shattered fruit. When his wife Claire finally reaches Alexander, he is with Vivian, his old flame, who says the errand was a dare she failed.

Claire tells him to come home and sign divorce papers. Alexander agrees to the divorce but insists on keeping their son, unaware the boy is gone. He stays away three days, then returns to scold Claire about dust and hand her a gift box — a necklace Vivian had already been photographed wearing, and discarded.

Claire signs the papers and leaves with her suitcase. Days later, Alexander arrives at her parents' old place with Vivian and bodyguards, demanding to know where their son is hidden and accusing the boy of taking Vivian's stockings, showing her a surveillance clip. Claire holds their son's urn.
