Sweet Spicy

A wife scrolling a Reddit thread finds a top-voted confession about a girlfriend who loves to play with her boyfriend's backdoor, and the poster's avatar—two intertwined hands, one thumb bearing a faint scar—matches her husband Leo's exactly. She pours concentrated capsaicin extract into the perfume bottle he has been secretly using, then follows the trail of his saved posts about fighting aging and his sudden vanity, certain he has fallen for a younger woman.

She links his account to a colleague's profile full of posts about an older man who spoils her, and the IP addresses match. When Leo comes home on their anniversary with roses and a diamond bracelet, she questions his sudden thoughtfulness; he explodes in defensive anger and flees to the shower. Searching his phone yields nothing, leaving her to wonder if she is wrong—until she recalls his recent promotion to Director of Marketing.
