Story

The story

On Thanksgiving Day, Sebastian is driving to his girlfriend Luna Hill's house when Julian Ford, her childhood sweetheart, deliberately rams his car into Sebastian's. The doors jam shut, flames spread toward the engine, and the safety hammer in the car has been swapped for a toy bear hammer. Trapped inside, Sebastian calls for help, but Luna and Julian stand outside mocking him, insisting the smoke is only a prank and that he is faking for attention.

As the fire grows real, Sebastian hits the emergency button that sends his location and live audio to his sister. Even then, Luna refuses to open the door, accusing him of staging a car fire out of jealousy. When he finally cracks the window for air, Julian seals it shut with tape, leaving Sebastian fighting for every breath as the vehicle burns around him.

It happened on Thanksgiving Day. I was on my way to my girlfriend's house when a car slammed straight into mine.

The road was deserted, not a single person was around. The doors were jammed shut from the impact, and flames were licking toward the engine.
