Story

The story

At eight, Faye cushions her brother Leo's fall from a construction site and spends a decade in a coma. She wakes at eighteen only for Leo to push her from the same rooftop, urged on by Mia, the girl he brought home. But Faye is reborn at eight, and now she can see live comments floating in the air around her, revealing that she is a side character meant to die so Leo and Mia can claim the family fortune.

When Leo dangles from the sixth-floor scaffolding and calls for help, Faye plays the panicked sister, stumbling toward the spot beneath him while secretly steering a loose rock into his landing zone. The rotted plank gives way, and Leo falls. He survives, unconscious, and their parents' blame turns on Faye once more.

Yet this time Faye is ready. With innocent questions and tears, she quietly shifts her parents' favoritism away from Leo, while the comments rage against her. The game has only begun.
