The Mystery Shopper Who Got Overlooked

A young man walks into the Marxell Motors showroom with his girlfriend, Fleur Harper, to look at the SX. The salesman, Lenny Sloan, ignores him, directs every pitch at Fleur, and questions whether a man in five-dollar canvas sneakers could ever afford such a car. The young man swallows his anger, negotiates the price, and puts down the deposit.

A week later the dealership calls Fleur to collect the car, and Lenny sneers that whoever is footing the bill gets the call. What he does not know is that the young man is a mystery shopper sent from corporate, quietly recording every stage of the visit. When Fleur is asked to pay and her card is declined, she tells Lenny that her boyfriend locked her card, shifting the blame onto him.

Every stage so far has scored a flat zero, and the process has already gone rotten before it is even half done.
