To Avenge My Boyfriend, I Made My Enemy Fall For Me.

Marilyn, a doctor working in a war-torn country, falls in love with Vincent, a bomb-disposal soldier who once saved her life. When a terrorist group led by Simon takes a Chinese woman hostage and demands Vincent by name, he goes alone to trade his life for hers. It is a trap: the hostage, Jilly, is Simon's lover. Vincent is tortured on a live stream, his fingers severed and his tongue tip cut away, and soon news of his death reaches Marilyn. She throws herself into the sea, and wakes in the body of Cherry, Simon's most favored captive.

Now Marilyn wears Jilly's look and moves against Simon's right-hand man, Tiger, the man who maimed Vincent. She lures him into a drunken assault and lets Simon walk in on them, betting that Simon's possessiveness will outweigh his loyalty to a brother. Simon shoots Tiger dead and lifts her into his arms, murmuring that no one dares touch her.

Her revenge has only begun. To make Simon pay, she must become important enough that he will marry her, and only then can she give him the ending he deserves.
