Divorcing The Star: My Spectacular Comeback

At his grandmother's funeral, I stood with our selectively mute daughter while my husband, a star hockey player, completely ignored us.

Instead, Jared crossed the aisle in front of everyone to pull his ex-girlfriend, Crystal, into a fiercely protective embrace.

When we left, he shielded her from the flashing cameras, leaving his legal wife and child to be blinded and mocked by the press.

The nightmare didn't stop there. At the reception, Crystal's son snatched my daughter's sketchbook and taunted her for being a "mute."

When I stepped in, Jared and his wealthy family publicly berated me for bullying a child.

"You're an embarrassment to this family. Stay home and reflect on your behavior."

To make matters worse, Jared kicked me out of the state-of-the-art sports science lab I had built from the ground up, handing my director position to Crystal.

"Without me, you are nothing."

He sneered over the phone, confident I would crawl back.

I couldn't understand how the man who once called me his star could strip away my dignity, steal my life's work, and even use his wealth to manipulate our traumatized daughter's therapy.

Was I just a convenient womb and a free developer for his family's empire all these years?

I didn't shed a single tear.

I signed the divorce papers, completely wiped the core AI algorithm I created from the lab's servers, and packed my bags.

Let's see how his new perfect family handles a multi-million-dollar empty shell while I take my genius to his biggest rival.
