Story
The story
Two years ago, Seth's younger brother Kyle was drowning in debt, his boutique inn on the edge of foreclosure. Seth, an independent travel guide with deep ties across the regional touring circuit, funneled busload after busload of guests to Kyle's door and poured his own savings into the property, turning it into a seven-figure enterprise without ever taking a management fee.
Then, on a peak Labor Day weekend, Kyle blocks Seth in the linen closet, accuses him of stealing premium stock to resell, and demands twenty thousand dollars for past damages. Mom and Dad side with Kyle, taking cash from Seth's wallet and pressing him to sign a promissory note for the balance. When Seth demands proof and tells them to call the deputies, Dad strikes him and Kyle dangles a five percent discount as a favor.
Boxed in by a fabricated accusation, Seth smiles and resolves to take his tour business elsewhere.
