The Wife He Forgot, the Family He Lost

After a car accident, a pregnant wife spends three sleepless days at her husband Ethan's bedside, only for him to wake and call her best friend Sophie "Honey." His mother tells her not to upset him, and Ethan insists he doesn't know her, warning her not to scam him with some kid. Sophie takes his hand, and the two look perfectly natural together. The wife doesn't make a scene; she drafts a divorce agreement, tells Ethan the baby will take her last name, and vanishes.

Alone and eight months pregnant with a high-risk pregnancy, she finds her accounts frozen and the house transferred to Sophie, who claims Ethan was always meant to be hers. Ethan's mother offers money to terminate the pregnancy, and Sophie arrives at the hospital wearing the wife's coat and wedding ring, searching her bag for a house key. With only a few dollars and a stranger's kindness to rely on, she must decide how to protect herself and her child.
