Framed As My Brother's Mistress

Bridget Ross is a new freshman enduring orientation boot camp when a private, joking text exchange with her older brother, Gabriel, is twisted into a scandal. Overnight, her photo, full name and messages are pinned to the campus anonymous forum by a senior who paints her as a shameless side-piece chasing a married man's money. The comment section turns into a sewer of slut-shaming, lewd offers and threats, and her major, section and room number are exposed.

With Gabriel unreachable overseas, Bridget learns the poster is Morgan Foley, a senior interning at Gabriel's own firm, Apex Holdings. Morgan corners her on the athletic field, pours iced lattes over her head and accuses her of latching onto Gabriel, demanding she return eight thousand dollars he wired her. Bridget insists Gabriel Langford is her biological brother, explaining the family split of surnames, but Morgan twists every proof into further accusation and strikes her before a jeering crowd.

Bridget stops begging to be believed and fights back, while the mob and Morgan's muscle close in.
